Hello everyone...
Recently added a S&S YS-110 to my SD 700 IS canon housing. Its hooked up as a slave on the TTL setting. Im shooting it on the underwater setting and sometimes I get ok photos (when there is a lot of natural light) however if its a bit darker i get pictures where there is way too much light from the strobe. I have it turned right down, but all I see is white. Can anyone give me any help as to how to set this up to work better?
Thanking you in advance!!

Can you provide more technical details? What mode are you shooting in? Without knowing more, my first guess would be that the exposure composition on your camera is turned way up....

Sounds like you need to set the camera to manual mode, and manually lower the exposure, I'm pretty sure you don't have control of the shutter and aperture directly on the SD series.

Hello,
Im shooting in underwater mode and the exposure is set at 0. I've also tried to turn the exposure down -1.5 to -2 (max) which seems to help a bit. No control of aperture or shutter, just exposure. Is turning down the exposure my only option with this camera?

have you tried Camera M mode? does it allow manual control of aperture & shutter speed?
