Dove Dania Beach Eurojacks last night and had some strange goings on with my compass...which works just fine everywhere else. Seems the needle swings wildly more than 180 degrees in certain spots near the rubble. Is there a bunch of metal down there or should I be calling the "MythBusters"?

When I was using the Cocoa Beach pool for my training, everytime the students passed this certain point about mid way down the swim lanes they make a jog. Asked the pool manager if he knew of any metal pipes under the pool there and he said all the piping was PVC and there shouldn't be any pipes at that location...still a mystery!

Do you remember the spot? Will have to check it out with various compasses. Should be interesting! Maybe that is where the gold is buried.

maybe... but gold isn't magnetic

:D

Great. Thanks Andy, I was hoping I could start rumors or pirate tales..... sigh..

well... gold COULD be magnetic, if you run a bunch of electricity through it

so...

maybe the pirates zapped the gold with 1.21 gigawatts of juice, thus
rendering it magnetic for perpetuity?

Thar's gold in dem hills!
