I just bought a UK Sunlight D4 divelight when the charter wanted to charge me ten bucks for a rental light...I know I spent more but if I will be using it I might as well buy one. Here is my question, how should you store lights? The way I have been doing it is take the batteries out and put them back together, just not tightly...sound about right? Also can you buy extra o-rings...and how often should they be replaced? By the way...the UK D4 is an EXCELLENT light!! It put the rental ikelites to shame!

Thanks,
Adam

It is better if you unscrew the light head to relieve pressure on the o-ring. It also lets any moisture in the light evaporate.

I'd suggest either taking the cap off or leaving it way screwed out so that you don't accidentally dive with it partly open.

The o-ring should be replaced if it is dry or cracked.
