dont remember who i got this "tip" from but it seems to work:
I've got a SeaQuest Black Diamond BC. For storage, It "reverses" easily so it is inside out - now the bladder is protected, and the waistbands close everything up pretty snug. (I sometimes put a 5 mm wetsuit inside - though it does get a little folded).
This doesnt seem to put any stresses on the shoulder rigging and the whole deal fits better in a roller bag. I guess my real concern is protecting the bladder side from damage - I'm careful that nothing on the front, like rings, etc, rubs against the bladder.
Is this a good way to store/travel with the BC?
Do others do this too?
