The head needs protecting out of the water, a can cooler works fine. Great advise about clipping off the head first thing when you are rigging up, you could be unhappy if you don't! I can't help wanting to baby my Helios because it cost so darn much!! It is close to being the most expensive part of my gear. But I just put it in with the rest of my gear, making sure to protect the lighthead.

They are very durable, just make sure you protect the lighthead. They are very bright, just make sure you protect the lighthead. Everyone you dive with will want one, just make sure you protect the lighthead.:D :D :D

Hey Jeff would you say the lighthead need proctecting? :D :out: =-)

Oh, Just a little. Underwater it's great, but topside, yes, find something cushy to store the head in.
