Am scheduled to dive tomorrow and Sunday and have woken up with a stopped up ear. This hasn't happened since I was like 8 years old ! So, am I going to be able to dive tomorrow or should I call it off? Any remedies welcome :)

Run to an ENT doc and have him look at your ear. If you have an inner ear infection you're not diving. Even if you could get your tubes to drain I'd sit it out.
Could be wax build up but the doc needs to determine what's going on.
Trust me, don't push it. I did on a trip and hurt my eardrum.
ENT.

NO

I tried diving a relativly shallow profile (25' for 2 hr) during an under water burning class while I had a cold. The act of equilizing caused the cold to migrate into my ear canal. Once it got plugged there was no way to leave surface without enduring severe pain.

Now if you are a masochist and trive on pain, go for it!

Otherwise ask to boat operator if you can get a gift cert. for another day.

Joe-Diver:
*** is an "underwater burning class"?

Commercial torch work I think he is referring.

Dude that's my dance outfit!

Went to the dr. and it's minor and he took care of it. So headed off to Aquarena this morning and it was closed to divers. That's another post.....
