About three weeks ago at my home here in Placentia CA my car was broken into and my XL Bear dry suit which was all black with silver refector tape on the sleeves, size 13 boots and dry glove attachment with seals were perminaly afixed to the sleeves, this would be so if i tore a seal then i could pull apart my dryglove attachment and change it out THIS SUITE WAS IN AN ALL BLACK BAG WITH BEAR WRITTEN ON IT WAS STOLEN OUT OF MY CAR.

I'M ASKING THAT IF YOU KNOW ANY DIVE SHOPES AND ANY ONE WHO LIVES IN ORANGE COUNTY CA OR NEAR BY TOWNS PLEASE PUT THE WORD OUT FOR ME.

THANK YOU BRIAN BLUESTEIN

Man...that's nasty...So Sorry...Check ebay or the pawn shops near you.. They seem to be the place stuff shows up

Some people are such Bas******!! I personally hope various parts of their anatomy fall off! have u got the serial number by anychance?

Sorry to hear of your loss. I've heard that thieves out there target cars with Inst/DM/AI stickers on them because they know there is expensive stuff usually in there. Be advised: Remove stickers if you have them.

Sorry to hear about your loss... I'll keep my eyes open up here...

BTW I think Paris Hilton stole your bear suit and gave it to Butters....

It's BARE isn't it? ;)

I have a whites, with bears on it

Brian,

As a fellow Placentian, I am sorry to hear this happened in our city.

I want to make it clear, I have my own drysuit and should not be considered a suspect.

I have to believe that the crook who stole it has no idea what it is and wouldn't fit them anyway. So, look on e-bay over the next several weeks (as mentioned earlier) and see if it shows up there. If so, notify e-bay and don't forget the police report...they may need it to do an investigation.

I'll keep an eye out at my divesites for an ill-fitting Bare drysuit.

Jon

I'll bet if you had a Bear in your BARE it would still be there. :D That just sucks. Will your insurance cover it?

I don't know if I would want it back. Some bozo might think it's a body condom and visit the sheep ranch.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. There is an internet site that allows you to register your gear with them & then if lost or stolen, puts out a bulletin to the other members & shops on the site. It is www.scubaregistry.com . It's not fool proof, but it is an option. I believe I found them through this forum. It sounds like the sticky fingered morons knew what they were looking for (because we all know dry suits ain't cheap). Wish you the best of luck trying to find your suit.
