First I used the vinegar and water. After a couple of hours a sniff test revealed it now smelled like cr@p salad. ;) Next to the bleach and water. I let it soak in that for several hours. It was better in that the vinegar smell was gone but it still has a "quarry bottom" scent. It is much better than it was but still there. I'll try to dive it and see what happens. I know it will rid me of any urge to nose breath and will likely never be stolen. I may keep it as is for a spare mask for students that forget theirs. That will teach them. :)
