I'm a Fish!
Has anyone ever experienced a stinging sensation while diving on the exposed areas of the face? My buddy experienced this on Sunday, yet there were no markings on her face like jelly stings and she was not on the bottom where she might've brushed something. She pinched me underwater to give me an idea of what it felt like, and it seemed to be all over her face, not localized to one spot. Today she still shows no signs on her face, but both of us are wondering what caused it. No evidence of jellies in the area, and no "electrical" critters either. Ideas?

I've had the same thing before. I guessed it was jellies that had gotten shredded going thru rigs or something. I saw pieces of jelly fish shortly after. I just fan my face like I'm hot to help wash away while still in the water. Was bad because I had not shave yet that day & it hung up in whiskers.
