Stinger Hosless Transmitter Upgrade??

I was in one the LDS's yesterday asking about the new vytec but still really swaying towards the stinger. The shop said that Suunto has annouced they will be offering new stingers with a hoseless transmitter upgrade and offering to retro fit (for a fee) old stingers for the same upgrade by around October.

Has anyone on the board heard anything about this. I really like the stinger and would love to have stinger with the abilities of a decked out vytec.

So, have you heard about this, if so is the October date about right for release, any idea on cost, etc.?

Seems very, very unlikely. No metion of it on the suunto website. Love to be proved wrong though
