Sting Rays attack Eagle Rays?

Ewa Pinnacles last weekend..
'was following a Spotted Eagle Ray
when, from the sea-floor 20 feet below..
a Sting Ray made a bee-line toward the Eagle Ray
for what seemed to be a tail-chase.
But, before it could rig it..
'must've finally seen me
and turn away.



are Sting Rays known to attack Eagle Rays?
 
Wow. Nice. You just never know what you are going to see.
 
moreover.. these were both large animals..
check the size of the cranium on the Eagle..

'couple other good sized critters at the Pinnacles too..
the "hook-mouth" on the second shark must be common..
'seen several sharks off all shores with this..
