Does anyone use a 19cuft pony with a stiletto, I am trying to sus out different mounting options.

I don't know whether to go with the Pony tank mounting bands (does anyone use these?) or whether it would fit side mounted under the wing.

I don't have my tank yet so haven't been able to try anything out.

I don't want to hang it off the front.

Thanks

I have a Ranger and a Brigade (same harness, different wings) and use the Stiletto for training (me and my students). I also use the Zeagle pony bottle straps off them all with a 30CF pony bottle when doing deep dives. The Zeagle straps keep the pony nice and secure. I place them on the right side, between the wing and the cam buckles right up againest the wing. It works well for me.

burna,

Steve'a Ranger & Brigade may not have the rear weight system. That was not standard until a couple years ago.

I use a Stiletto and a 30 cu ft, which is just a little longer than your 19, and it fits nicely on the tank bands with the 8029HD deluxe pony tank holders. You won't need any weight there anyway, (and certainly not ditchable weight), because the pony and extra 1st stage make you about 2 lbs heavy on that side. It's good to balance by adding about 2 lbs to the other side. I removed my right side rear pocket anyway to make the pony fit in tighter.

Even a 13 cu ft pony is too big under the wing, IMO... it feels like a football jammed under there. The 6 fits nicely there, but isn't a good deco bottle like the 19 or 30.

Good diving!
