My wife just bought me a steel 120 for my bday. She got the short fat tank. I don't know if I want to keep it or switch it in for the taller thinner tank. Opinions....

Does a short fat tank look normal to you?
The short fat one looks ok. It is has the 8" diameter while the taller has a 7.25" diameter. The difference in height is about 4 inches.

You probably have HP119 vs. HP120 you mention.
HP119 is shorter 8" and HP120 is taller 7.25".
HP119 has actually little more gas capacity and it is significantly shorter. Unless you are tall it will probably fit you better.
How is the capacity of a 119 more than a 120? I'm thinking of keeping the 119 because it is shorter. Only drawback is having to adjust the tank bands if I do multi tank dives since my other is a HP100 which has a 7.25" diameter.
