Just booked flights and lodging - July 5-13. Woot!!! So excited, have not been to Coz before. Super excited for the Adventure Dives with them. Has anyone done this before?

I saw an ad that Whale Shark sightseeing has been reduced. Any info on that, or is it just Hoopla?

Also, what is the Jelly forecast for this time of year there?

I've not had a chance to do the adventure dives yet. I'm guessing you'll love the Villa and the Aldora way of diving. They will want to check your skills before you head up there (don't take offense). SOP to go to places like that. It's for your safety and the group your diving with. If you've not used an SMB, ask how to use one before you go. You can have a go at a practice deployment in a controlled situation. Not a big deal, just good to practice if you've not shot one to the surface.
Go to Isla Mujeres for the whale sharks. I've not heard of the reduction in activity. This is an old report I did:

Did it again in 2012 and was/is a cool experience if you can go. National Geographic type stuff. Amazing.
Not sure about this years "jellys" but if were an issue it would be posted on here on SB.
Remember one thing there. If you want or need something... Ask. They are not mind readers. Aldora will generally go out of their way to make things happen (within reason). Have fun!!!

I did those dives last year and they were beautiful. The couple of times I have been way north with them were excellent, nice amount of sharks and excellent lionfish hunting.
