traveljunkie,
I am a big fan of something special area. did alot of diving in the area this past march. saw much there--rays, turtles, octopus, frog fish, tarpon etc
will have to try jeff davis never tried it. very hard to identify good or best dives on Bonaire. they're all good. but favorite was tailor made way up north but as said all good.

If you're gonna dive HH do it really early or at night. Once the hordes drop on it the tarpon mostly skeedaddle.

Salt pier is good, day and night.

Take a whole day and go north - karpata, Taylor made, candyland, nukove. Pack plenty of food water and hoppy water.

Bahh. I've never paid to dive off there. Park at side lot, walk in and dive. Probably taking their tanks is tacky. I end up spending more $ there apres dive at the bar.
never been stopped. Smile at Security guy as walk by who sees me gearing up at truck in lot

Sorry. Was told otherwise. Was told you had to pay to dive it from shore because it was private property.
We were tpld by the Toucan Divers staff about it. Specifically what reefseal posted, park in the north lot and walk in thru the gate as it's a lot closer. And they knew we weren't resort guests.

We didn't even see the Security guy...
About the only place I know that charges is Habitat. So if you want to dive Cliff either pay their fee($5?) or just take the next left past Habitat and there's a public area/entrance - just don't park on Hamlet's property. The only other resort we dove was Bari Reef but since it was with their naturalist, they already knew. We did bring our own tanks at all three places though.
