Status Of Dutch Springs??

Hi Gang, I overflew Dutch Springs this past Saturday (2/1/04) @ 1000 feet and it looked like it was completely frozen over. Understandable since the temp has been so cold for so long. Anyone been up there since the temp has started to rise? I heard mention of a February dive and am hoping th at the ice accumulation is much less than now, as I'd like to go but don't want to risk a reg freeze in the process.

Hopefully the heavy rains over the next day will expidite the thawing. I think the heavy rains start around midnight and will reach the Allentown area.

If anyone knows how to rain dance, please do your thing

The 7 day forecast shows only 1 day in 7 with daytime temps below freezing.
It also shows rain on the 6th and 11th. Sooo we could get a good melting.

But if the ice disappears I need a group to dive with, my regular buddies are in Cozumel that weekend.
