Starbuck's coffee sucks!

I've been to Starbuck's... at two different ones, just in case my first experience was unique to that store. I got four impressions:
(1) mediocre products
(2) poor service
(3) high prices
(4) dirty
I won't be going back - anywhere.

I haven't been that impressed with Starbucks either. I think it is over priced.

I found a guy that roasts fresh every few days and can blend something specific for me if want him to do so. West End Coffee Company: Coffee lovers, you have arrived. I have been pretty happy with the stuff I have purchased from him. He has a pumpkin pie coffee I want to try. I had some great pumpkin coffee a couple of years ago and have been trying to find it again.

My sister loves the coffee. I can't go in teh store because the coffee smells to much liek teh cats litter box. Funny how people can have such differing tastes.

LOL!! Too true!! I'm not a big coffee fan - to drink anyway - but I LOVE the smell of the stuff - when it's brewing, or beans are being ground .... I just wish it tasted as good as it smells!!! I often can't get past the bitterness of it. Now a good coffee ice cream? That's to die for!!!!

Greeting from (semi) sunny Cozumel!!!! Very, very last minute trip... booked flights on Monday and arrived Thursday.

Ha ha... we just had to stop and get our pics taken at Cozumels newest, hottest place!!!

This image may give you a better idea of it's placement (if you know the lighthouse at Punta Langosta). We did not partake of any of their coffees but I bet we will one day while here. The setting is nice and tasteful, and I think the decor goes well. What it does have is a nice outdoor seating area that would be great for people watching. The seating wraps about 3/4 around the store so some seating is off of Melgar. I think once the cruise ships leave and Senor Frogs & Carlos and Charlies quiets down, it would be a nice place to chill. I see some iced chais in my future.
