So, does anyone have a favorite supplier of stainless carriage bolts, lock washers, etc.? I couldn't find them at my local Home Depot....

Your local "West Marine" will have a large selection of stainless
hardawre. Likely an entire Asle devoted to it. Also has an endless
selecltion of clips and shackles. www.westmarine.com
They have a store near almost every marina

ANy other place that sells to boat owners and sailors will have
loads of high quality expensive hardware.
