Can anyone recommend a 6-pack like operation on St Croix ? Maybe one which will let us dive steel 100s (or 120s) ? Dive our computers ?

Does that Passport thing still exist ?

If we want to dive Cane Bay and Salt River can we dive a boat out of Christiansted ?

Is the Comanche still in business ? We've had some of the best breakfasts there...

Thank you.

Can't speak for a 6 pack, but you can do Cane Bay as a shore dive-in fact, I recommend it.

I've done that - several times - but it has been about 30 years... How far was that swim out to the wall ?

Not far-around 75-100 yards to the buoy, then after you drop down, maybe another 25-35 yards from there.

Anchor Dive runs out of Salt River Bay. They do a decent job and run a six-pack. If memory serves, however, they have depth limits and like to come up as a group. They are also limited to the Salt River Bay and do not do Cane Bay. Hope that helps.

give scuba shack a call.......... good people and they let us dive our computers after the first day

I realize this is an old post, but, figured I would reply with current answers!

Actually, Anchor Dive can do any site on the island (I worked there for a while recently)....they try to shake-it-up, especially if you are diving with them all week.

Yes, the Passport still exists.

Yes, the Comanche is still there and operational, although, I believe that they are only serving dinner right now. (They are one of the hotels I have a contract with if you need to book it).

Anchor will arrange for a pick-up at MileMark Watersports/Caribbean Sea Adventures, right down by the fort - walking distance from Comanche, usually, to take you out to the other end to hop on their boat.

Most dive ops in C'sted (SCUBA, Dive Experience, etc) do go out to Salt River, the Wall, and Butler Bay. They do different boat dives each day.

If you would like more info, please contact me....I'm more than happy to help you! Plus, we could do a dive together while you are here!!!!!

Big Hugs~
