Out of the blue this week, my wife said, "Take me snorkeling this weekend", so I did. Lisa has never been snorkeling before, and is generally apprehensive about swimming with sea critters, so I was a bit surprised with the request. I decided on St. Andrews, because it's hard to beat the kiddie pool for snorkeling around here.

Conditions were great. No current, the tiniest bit of surge near the rocks, and warm, clear water. The only down side was the crowd. Zero parking spaces, and half of Bay County on the beach and in the pool, but even with the crowds, it was a great day to be out on the water. Lisa surprised me with her willingness to get close to critters, and she was not at all startled by the bigger fish that passed us by (lookdowns and sheepies). We ended up snorkeling for almost two hours before heading back in.

Lisa really had a blast, and I won't be too amazed if she starts asking about scuba classes soon ;)

Very cool!!! That place was nuts this weekend.

I'm so glad you both had a good time and good conditins. But keep in mind that a Scuba Diving wife is a double edged sword my man.... I know you've heard my stories!

Alex, Your video is marked as private and I can't view it even when signed into Vimeo. What the heck were you guys doing on your snorkeling trip that we can't see?

LOL, vid should be fixed now, nothing you haven't seen before though.

I know what you mean about the spouse as a dive partner. She's pretty good on the boat though. If I can get her to tote all her dive gear I might not complain too much though...

Listen to you guys talking about your wives as double edged swords. How on earth could a woman ever be that ;)
