I just had some ss screws corrode read bad on my alum dive light head. Has anyone tried the corrosion compound used for alum to copper wiring for this purpose? Or does some other lubricant work good?

I have had success using Tef-Jel from Ultra Safety Systems for stainless fasteners in aluminum masts. It is also helpful to prevent galling with stainless to stainless threads.

You have to electrically isolate materials from each other . It is hard because wou have to isolate in thread them.
- another marine grade eloxation ( make higher resistance )
- lubricate hole with teflon grease ( anything isolative )
- put arround screw coil a little teflon piping tape (but careful - tightening the screws
with a moment key )
- avoid of use of metal greases (special Li or carbon based grease
( maybe it is a good grease that uses in regulators ( not for nitrox) to tighten joint
between rubber hose and 1st or 2nd stage (white - because it not dissolved in
salt water )
