SRP Filter question

For those who use the SRP filter with the Hero 3 are you guys using any sort of lanyard with the filter housing? Just don't want to accidentally bump it and not notice it. I see that there are a couple holes on the filter housing. So what material and what do you attach it to?

Yes, I do. A very smalll laneyard between the bottom of the filter and going through the bottom attachment of the case. Just a very samll lane to prevent it to go in front of the lens.

Any particular material? I mean is this something I make or buy? I'm ok with either, just struggling to visualize what I need.
