I'm not sure which vendor you received the springs from, but just be careful.

I bought a set of Manta's from ebay, and found that the wire that goes into the fin block came out on a dive. I never trusted them after that. I bought a set of Halcyon springs. Pricey, but made well. The bracket is solid-unlike the wire from the Manta.
 
If you guys search around there are many explanations on how to make your own straps. They are very easy to do. Mine came out great and fit quite good. Not at all difficult to adjust for your foot size or type of footwear worn. Now if someone is on the extreme end of either spectrum then it might make more work. I used S-hooks rather than the shackles. I think both work equally well but I thought my feet were going to be tight using the 11" springs so I thought it would be easier to adjust the size by using another small S-hook to extend one size. Did not have to mess with that though. They're great. Wish I would have done this long ago.
