Ok - have fitted a set of Halcyon spring straps to my Jetfins.

Whats the best way to deform the end of the pins so the straps wont spring off again ?

Sorry - didnt make my question very clear!

New set of straps, there is a pin that goes through the rubber block sticking out of the side of the fins - a bit like an oversized watch strap pin.

The ends of the pins have a smaller diameter post that fits into holes on the spring strap attachment, to stop the newly attached strap attachment point from easing open and coming off this post you have to somehow deform or burr over the end of this post, so it wont come out of the hole.

A bit like the original straps - the ends of the pins were 'welded' over so the original buckle could not slip off.

trying to figure out how to do this .....................
