Spiro SBC BCD Inflater mount, photo with scale

So I missed one pic which gives the scale. The inside thread is approx 1" in diameter.

My apologies. Joyce of Dive Gear Express, NOT Dive Rite. See BCD Parts and Components - Dive Gear Express
If you look at the part suggested by Couv, which was a good suggestion, and the same as suggested by Joyce, they do not apply to this situation.
But thanks for you efforts.

On reviewing Couv's suggestion of replacing the whole assembly, this would work for the inflater. There are however 3 other dump valve fittings to replace which makes new parts uneconomical.
I live in hope someone out there has an old Spiro SBC BCD which is damaged in some other way and the inflater and dump valve fittings can be cut out and sent to me. Payment forth coming of course.

As this is the DIY section I cannot say "forget it." :D So I have one more suggestion that may make the repair into a more reasonable venture. Obtain the elbow parts mentioned above and also an OPV DR-BC2748 and an extra Bladder Flange Assy FXBC2700 and simply patch the 2 other dump receptacles. You'll still have 2 methods of dumping air which is all most wings have anyway.

See the previous post for links on how to patch a large hole in the bladder.

Good luck!

I have to say it sounds like it will become a bit like Triggers Broom! Explanation

If it was a horse you'd shoot it..... and then serve it up in minute doses in Tesco burgers :-)

Thanks, Couv, for your continuing efforts to find a solution.
In the meantime I have purchased online a very good second hand BCD.
It does not solve my immediate problem here in Maldives but does on the long scale.
Thanks again.

You don't throw away a car cos the brake discs are worn out.
