mostly sunny skies, a light breeze, and flat seas upon reaching the SG this morning. scuba do and silent world the only charters on the wreck. buoy SG4(portside crane): green viz 30FT and light current descending to the wreck, blue viz 60+FT and strong current upon reaching the superstructure, water temp 83F @ 60-95FT. OK dive! in search of glass minnows and the accompanied fish action for dive # 2 and we found it @ the BENWOOD wreck about 1.5 miles SW of the SG. buoy BW1(starboard bow): typical blue/green viz 40+FT(improving as the dive wore on), zero current, 83F @ 30-44FT, wreck to ourselves! terrific dive with3 distinct schools of glass minnows(school on the bow was massive), predators everywhere: huge black groupers(dozens, numerous above 25LBS), hefty mutton/yellowtail/grey/schoolmaster/lane/mahogany snappers, various jack species, snook. nonstop action and one of the most enjoyable dives iv'e had @ this site. wide angle pics from TIMG,,,,,
