Hey guys, gonna be heading to the philippines and Thailand in January and wondering if anyone knew people to contact about taking us out and for gear hire etc.?

Ill be heading to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao for the Thailand leg and mainly the Visayas in the Philippines (I hear the waters around sipalay have tuna, trevally etc). Wont be taking any of my own gear other than my mask. Any help or advice will be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

James

I have been in Sipalay a couple of times and have never seen tunas there. A good chance to see tuna feeding is Pescador Island at moalboal Cebu. You can rent all the dive equipment you need, I would recommend Savedra Dive Center. However just be aware spearfishing is not allowed in Moalboal, and I doubt any reputable dive center on the Philippines allows spearfishing.
Unfortunately I can't comment on Thailand.
