Hi,
Does anyone know any good/decent freshwater spots for spearfishing in NJ. I was thinking some lakes. I am familiar with greenwood lake, hapactong/ round valey res., and spruse run res. Is u/w hunting allowed at those places. Can anyone recomend anything else.
Thanks, Stas

Stas,
In any state park areas no spear guns are allowed, safety thing. Don't know about other places. Best thing to do is to get a copy of the rules and regs. from Fish/Wildlife. You can pick it up wherever they a sell fishing license. Most of the time I go for salt water spear fishing. You can do Shark River on off times , late nights I go to SHark RIver Inlet. But once again get a copy of the Salt water rules/regs. for limits etc., this will give you a start. if I can help further let me know.
