Suggestion Spearfishing Forum Proposal

ScubaBoard Management,

I submit the following proposal for the creation of a
spearfishing related forum:

Please create an Underwater Hunting forum.

It would be a welcome addition to SB.

Spearfishing is a subject of controversy, so I recommend
that the forum be established the same way as DIR forum;

have an Underwater Hunting forum, and an
Underwater Hunting Free Zone forum,

whereby, divers can communicate in friendly form, in a
friendly forum regarding the popular topic of underwater
hunting.

In the event SB Management does not wish to create such a
forum, kindly state your reasons.

Just so you know ... the Underwater Hunting forum is open for business.

Please use it as a place to trade information on underwater hunting ... keeping on topic and within TOS. Based on some of the responses I read yesterday in the now-closed spearo thread, I'm concerned that the forum might prove to be somewhat "combustible" ...

Thanks for starting the new hunting forum.

I was amazed at how quickly some people got all spun up assuming that the ScubaBoard management had somehow conspired and discriminated against hunters, even though everything seemed to be based on one person's "guess".

Thanks also for closing that thread before it got any more "inflamatory".
