Spearfishing for Stripers in MA Bill?

Hey guys new here, thought this might be a good place to ask a question I can't find an answer to....Does anyone know the status of the bill that would make it legal to spearfish for striped bass in massachusetts waters? Any chance of this passing?

You might want to try Spearboard. There is a NE USA forum on there. I would bet some of those guys would know.
