Southern Lake Simcoe Dive Sites

Hi everyone,

I have the opportunity to dive from a friend's boat tomorrow morning in Southern Lake Simcoe / Cooks Bay. I know there are a couple of wrecks that are listed on the GeoDiving website, but I was wondering how accurate the co-ordinates are if anyone has used them.

Also, if anyone knows of any other sites that are worth a visit, please post or PM me.

Trimaran - N 44 14.606 / W 79 31.435 - Does anyone know anything about this one?

The Black - N 44 17.468 / W 79 30.944

Neilson - N 44 22.831 / W 79 40.405

The Trimaran is nothing more than wood chips just and a waste of time, we dove her a few years back while we re located the plane into deeper water..

What plane is that? I heard there was one in Kempenfelt, but didn't get any co-ordinates.

All in all it was a boring day on the water. Only did one dive and then other people on the boat decided they wanted to visit some beach and spend the rest of the day sitting on the boat. The kid that wanted to go to this beach didn't even get in the water. I was ready to throw him in!!! What a waste of a day.

Oh well, next time I guess.... or I need to buy my own boat!!
