I am looking for a good dive site for this Sunday morning on the south shore. Anywhere between Marshfield and Plymouth would be cool. Any suggestions. Looking for bugs.

Thanks

Dave,

I dive Brant Rock in Marshfield fairly often, as it's 5 minutes from my house. Depending on how far out you want to do your surface swim, it can be ok for bugs, but don't expect a motherlode. It's fairly shallow - so the plus side is you get more bottom time to hunt. It can be a pain to enter/exit at dead low tide. There's free parking right at the seawall - as long as you arrive early (by say 10 am) on a weekend.

The LDS - North Atlantic Scuba 781 834-4087 hosts afternoon and night dives there Tuesday & Thursday every other week. I think they also do a Saturday morning dive.

I'd be happy to dive it with you sometime. I'm starting 2 weeks vacation tomorrow, will be back from Canada on Friday aug 8, so almost any time after that I'm available other than Wed and Fri 13th and 15th.

MASS-Diver dives Gunrock beach in Hull sometimes. I haven't dove there yet. Might be a cool night dive.

Jack,
Sounds great, I am always looking for more people to dive with. I usually go out on Weekends, but would also be interested in night dives. email me at dpoole34@msn.com when you are back from vacation. and have a good time.
Thanks
