South Maui OW instructor recommendations please

Hi all,

We are looking for recommendations for a South Maui/Kihei/Wailea-area OW instructor for my 29-yo niece who is moving to Maui in February. She’s intrigued by the underwater world and wants to learn to dive, but seems initially a bit apprehensive having grown up in AZ with limited experience in the ocean. Are there individuals (rather than shops) you’d recommend for a great OW class experience? Thanks very much!

Maui Dreams should be good. Javier is a respected instructor. Many instructors have left Maui after the wildfires in 2023.
