South Florida Scuba Destinations-near airport

I have a credit with Jet Blue which I have to use in the next few months and will be flying out of Newark.

Jet Blue flies to Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Fort Myers.

Can someone recommend good diving locationn near one of these airports inasmuch as I won't be renting a car and would use a cab to get to the location. Any conveniently located hotels will be appreciated.

American Dream II is very close to the airport (FLL), and a very good op. Google them and you'll get the website. The boat is docked at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66, which is a nice hotel...not sure about the rates, but we're out of season here so rates are typically lower, and would be very convenient since you won't have a car.
