I wouldn't mind retiring here someday...
Position of the resort is perfect for sunrise and sunset..

We did a dive trip to Provo, Grand Turk, West Caicos, Salt Cay & South Caicos a few years ago & the best diving was at South Caicos - stayed at the old resort there before it closed.

We dove the same places in 2001, and agree S Caicos was the best of them (we did it from a liveaboard.) I've since periodically checked to see what is available for land & dive accomodations there and have observed a couple websites not change for years. (One place has been listed for years with only an artists rendition on various timeshare sites - including the RCI exchange site. Seems to have finally been removed from the RCI site.)

Seems nothing happens very quickly there, if it ever happens. True for lots of places in the Caribbean of course, but some more than others.
