So where is South Broward Beach, sorry not so hot on geography of counties - Pompano seemed to be mentioned in the articles.

Oops, I should have said South Broward, Beach renourishment, ie South Broward County beaches. This would be Dania Beach, Hollywood Beach and Hallandale Beach. They are going to start at the south end of the county and work north this summer. First they do a survey, then they pump the sand and then resurvey to make sure the sand is where they wanted it.

The really nice part is that they get to do it all again after the next storm.

We're getting the same thing over here on the other coast.

Oh joy. They just did this a few years ago (ok, maybe 10). And I swear the equipment wasn't gone yet when a storm (not even a hurricane) came and blew all that taxpayer sand back into the ocean.

The silt from Delray dredging is starting to show itself in the sand off Boynton Beach. What a mess this is making! Gotta keep the turtles ( tourist greenback) happy.
