Well, the reef/coral heads are neat in Sosua (Three Sisters, Five Rocks etc.) However, the choice of Dive Company may not have been the best. The other company at the top of "The Hill", name escapes me. Walk past the gauntlet, up the hill, past the bar with the outside deck on the left, make a right, it's right down the street past the fancy open air restaurant owned by the Germans. The dive outfit did a great job, great pre-dive brief, very professional. I did not carry any equipment other than my towel to the embarkation point. Yes the north coast, Cabrete is the wind-surfing capitol of the world, can be rough, hense the vis being less than desireable. Ask for Clive at this dive-shop. Expatriate from UK, great instructor/guide.

I think you are talking about Northern Coast Diving. Originally owned by an Expatriate from UK for 18 years, for past year or two has been ran by a Padi course director from US (cannot remember his name now), with the same great crew. Very nice people, great team to go diving with. I dove with them many times when I lived in Cabarete. Here is their website

We'll never go back.....

at least you didn't get food poisoning like my wife...

I had a DR resort and dive report/photos but they didn't survive the scubaboard crashes of 2006
