Anyone used either of these underwater? Any thoughts or samples you could post?

I was looking for a camera that has the best of both worlds --good stills and 720p video.

I'd steer clear of Sony, any model. They're often cute pieces of kit, but once they break forget about fixing them. Get Canon - that company REALLY stands by its products. Google "POTN".

Thanks for that resource. Appreciated.

Still haven't found any underwater samples of either camera. I am leaning towards the Canon SX200 but the Ikelite housing cuts part of the flash off in the picture. Sounds like bad design but would like to see examples before I judge it too harshly.

Still looking for underwater samples of W290 or SX200.

Thanks
