Hi all, just wondering if someone can advise me on something that has been bugging me on the Rx100.

Why do i get more zoom power when I am shooting under the "FINE" setting for image quality than when I choose the "RAW" option?

Cheers,

I believe in raw, it will not allow you to do digital zoom, so you are limited to the optical zoom. Using raw they expect you to just crop the pic in post.

In fine you have access to clear zoom (2x) which is a form of cropping and edge enhancement not as bad as digital zoom
In RAW this is not available
