Hi!
I recently switched from my old but reliable Sony A7RII to Sony A1. When shooting RAW i realize that the images looks extremly underexposed in Adbobe Bridge and Camera RAW (before you process them), even though the images are correctly exposed (looks good on camera display).
This makes it hard when browsing, rating and making selections. I have not had this problem with any of my previous cameras. Has anyone else expreienced this and have any suggestions?
I changed to "Camera Standard" in Camera RAW settings that made it a bit more easy to see details in the pictures, but they are still quite dark.

the images are correctly exposed (looks good on camera display).

The camera display shows a JPEG image of the file, not the RAW view you see in Adobe apps. Even when you are shooting RAW, not JPEG, the camera generates a JPEG image for the camera display.

What is happening is what should be happening. Cameras don't display RAW views, just JPEG.

I don’t use Adobe Bridge or Camera Raw, but in Lightroom, my A1 Raw files look fine.

I had a similar problem with my A7R5, when I just had acquired it, that costed me a lot of photos for the first months of diving. I think your problem could be closely related, if not the same. When I reviewed the photos UW through the EVF, they looked well exposed. After transferring the raw files to the PC and importing into LRc, I found out that many photos were underexposed...

My problem was that the menue point "AUTO Viewfinder Brightness" is "ON" by default in the A7R5. After turning this menue item "OFF", everything is o.k. and I see the correct exposure of the photos in the EVF...

Look e.g. here and search for "AUTO Viewfinder Brightness" for the intsructions how to turn it "OFF" (A7R5, but A1 may be similar): The Complete Setup Guide for the Sony a7R V

As an alternative, I suggest you switch on the cameras histogram function and check, just after making the photo, whether it is well exposed...
