Here are some photos from the weekend club trip to the barrier reef.
Weather was really bad only got half my dives in due to sea sickness.

Great pics and the colours are excellent.

Not sure whether the soft coral would look better in portrait format though (flipped 90 degrees), although the background might look a bit odd I suppose?

I feel with you fergy john....being sea sick spoils the fun.
But I must say the pictures you did get are great :D

is the first pic a regal angle?
Are these common on the barrier reef?

G'day Luke,
This one is very common on the GBR and is called a 6 banded angelfish.

Nice pics... I like the angel...

Very nice, Fergy!

Nice pics! Sorry to hear you were sea sick!

LukeRob - closer to home those 6 banded angels are everywhere on the Ningaloo...both Coral Bay and Exmouth. You will even see them while snorkelling right from shore, but the BIG ones are farther out...

Thanks guys. Funnily I have a picture of one which I have named as a 6 banded angel (took it up at exmouth), I must have been in another world last night. I'll post it when I get home, Johns is far better though.
