I have figured out how to use the Parallel port version of the Oceanlog software with both Windows XP and Windows 2000. The solution will cost you $30 to register some shareware, if you choose to do so.

I think this concept would work with serial versions too, but I have no way to test it.

follow up to the above posting.

New at this.
I bought the product way back just before putting window xp upgrade.

Had no way to use it for years and no help from oceanic as they say a fix is comming at a price reduced to those who just made the switch.

I am still without a fix and without having to buy the whole setup with new interface,again.

I would like more information on your fix to the situation; because, someday I would like to sit down and unload all my dives and guess where I was.
