I'm planning on heading down to Gennie Springs about the second week in January and will be going alone. I know they don't allow solo diving, but how hard will it be to hook up with a dive Buddy when I'm down there? I spoke to one of the instructors from Gennie and he said not to worry about it, but I'd really hate to drive all the way down, from NJ, and not be able to dive.

There are many dive sites like GS in that area and when I visited it was VERY easy to find a buddy "on arrival"
Blue Grotto, Manatee springs, Devils throat, etc all had friendly people to go diving with. If you want to do cave diving, and are certified, you may want to connect with a local shop.
