I am planning to visit Bonaire for 7 days. Solo traveler. I have about 100 dives, but need to do my advanced open water before I do a liveaboard. Was planning to do advanced, then a couple of boat dives (west coast included), and hopefully meet some people to shore dive with. Where are some good spots to stay (hoping for somewhere a bit smaller than buddy dive but if that is the best, so be it)?

Buddy Dive does not feel big (and it's not, really), and it checks all your boxes.

Ok thank you. How would this compare to Captain Don’s? Are they both suitable for solo travelers to meet other divers? Captain Don’s seems to have updated accommodation, for quite a bit less when I tally up the costs.

I've never stayed at Capt Dons, only eaten there and taken classes there. I prefer the BD ambiance and logistics.
