Hhaha...yeah, Halocline, I admit I was soooo happy that you goofed on grammar that I even missed the rest and even tried to zap my post, but I didn't know how.......HOWEVER, I think the message remains the same, no?.........how many languages do YOU speak?.........let alone WRITE!........I am the first to say that the grammar/spelling by many posters makes me climb my walls, but a lot of mistakes are typos, a lot is just plain ignorance, but I DO take offense when someone criticizes someone who is using a second language........kudos to THEM!

Im mostly on my cell phone when i use this forum (using 4x3). And i hate waiting for the next double letter, Soooo/and, alot of typos Is just plan ignorance.

Your English is fine. Much better than my Norwegian, Spanish, or any other language. Hell, I fumble on English. This thread is dumb tho. :silly:

I know that I confuse people with the way I express myself at times, especially if I mix in farm-talk & local jargon. I tried to correct my daughter's use of "anyways" but that seemed futile, maybe her friends all used it, but then she became a teacher and had to set better examples. Some phrases I just have to accept as coming from other states and translate in my head, like "If he wouldn't've" means "hadn't" I think. I really wonder if they still teach English in school sometimes, like when someone says "I and my freind."

Have fun.... You'll be and do fine.... One of the big things to work on is slowing down... Take your time... If you look, life is found in the nooks and cranny's... It 's not a race down there.... It'll really help your air consumption....
