I just booked my third Nekton Diving Cruise. The Northwest Bahamas for the week of September 15th to 22nd 2007. Oh, I am going as a single diver but I do not dive solo. I never have problems finding divers to buddy with on Nekton.

Greetings Twrmodela,

I mean to say I am a solo traveler, not a solo diver. I always buddy up with another solo diver on board or with the divemaster. I just meant to say that on each week long dive trip I've taken, I have traveled alone to the boat but then met other solo divers on board and buddied with them. Same as you.

Everyone, couples and single/solo divers have been very friendly. I've made lasting friendships with couples and other solo divers I've met on my dive trips.

Just go and enjoy. And if you end up with your own cabin, good for you. A little extra room and a bit of privacy. It can enhance your week.
