Hi all, I am looking to do a solo trip to Raja Ampat end of Oct beginning of November. I will be doing a livaboard for the first 6 nights then I will have a remaining 6 nights to stay on the islands. I have been looking at the options and would love to hear what other people have experienced. I am tossing up between 2 nights on 3 seperate island either Kri/Mansur, Fam, Gam or Batanta and wondering what are the islands not to miss while there while also feeling safe as a solo traveler. To add to this I will be staying in Waisai for 2 nights prior to my livaboard so this will allow me time to do the Blue river. If there’s any other land based activities I shouldn’t miss please let me know and would you recommend pre booking any of these?
Thank you.

Question: last 6 nights, do you intend to do any diving? Or just land excursions?

I hate staying only 2 nights anywhere as it gives only 1 day to see anything, but of course it’s up to you.

Also: transfer between islands can be expensive especially as a solo traveller, maybe join the Stay Raja Ampat FB group and see if anyone is doing similar itinerary to split costs.

Hi thanks so much for the above will have a look at the FB group. Yeah this is what I’m thinking am I rushing it a little to much may be betters doing 3nights on 2 islands. So yes would like to do a little beach relaxing/snorkeling and some land based things to get the full experience.
