Getting there is NOT that easy as compare with other more well known places.
Sogod Bay is highly recommended.

I agree with you completely, as it is the only reasonable explanation. With that said, it does not look too difficult to get to, at least with all of the options that they list on their web page. It is pretty easy for most travelers to get to Cebu, and from there, it is a ferry ride and a (relatively long) van ride. Not easy, but not too much of a hassle for some excellent diving.

It is a lot easier to get to than say Alor or Raja Ampat ....but not quite as good , but has whalesharks and is really quiet and is excellent value !
