Socorros on the Rocio del Mar

Mindful of what happened at this time last year, I checked the weather forecast for Socorro Islands in the week that we are going. It is very good with sunny days on 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th & 18th with patchy clouds on 10th, 13th & 16th. I know that forecasts can be wrong but at least gives us something to look forward.

Just came off a great trip to the Socorros on board the Rocio del Mar. Met LittleNat and her group on the boat. Also met Dave, who was my buddy on the trip.
We saw Mantas, loads of sharks, dolphins, hammerheads (admittedly the hammers did not get close) and guess what - a whale shark! Plenty of other fish too.

On my way to Bonaire now but will post a full report with potos after getting back to the UK.
