Did the Midriff Islands on the live aboard Rocio Del Mar last July and loved it-the diving was different-pinnicle-rocky, not your reef diving. But 100's of sea lions, giant head jaw fish, schools of everything, nudis of every color, live black coral feeding. the boat is really steady because of the weighted arms that are lowered in the water. But the sea was so calm. The crew was fantastic as well as the food. and the owners of the boat are on the boat and dive with you. I loved the whole experiance and hubby and I are going back abain in July. Been on 5-6 different live aboards and this boat is not the most luxurious, but the crew, food and diving made up for it. and did not see another boat all week and the scenery is beautiful, great trip.
